We are Kingdom
... (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
Growing in Grace.
Living in Truth.
Together.
Favored by God | Gracious to Others | Gifted to Serve(John 1:16)
Grace is the unmerited favor of God. And, like Jesus, we must increase in favor with both God and man. | Luke 2:52
The favor of God is our birthright. We cannot do anything to earn it. Still, we must respond to God's favor with gratitude and be reconciled, as ambassadors for Christ, in right relationship, justified by Jesus Christ. | 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
Favorable encounters with every person, every time.
"...and you will KNOW the Truth, and the TRUTH will make you free." (John 8:32)
When Jesus said this, he was telling us that living a life of discipleship is the only way to experience true liberation. To "know" is more than having information. Knowing TRUTH is to experience it by living it; believing, being, and becoming.
So, our truth is sharing our Testimony, buildingRelationships, getting Understanding, Training to reign, and experiencing Healing in every area of our lives.
We are made ALIVE and RAISED to REIGN, together(Ephesians 2:4-10)
We are better and become our best selves when we learn to live, grow, and change together. WE BELONG TOGETHER! God created us to be good together, and to do good together.
...we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that we [must] show forth the praises of God who has called us out of darkness into the marvelous light;1 Peter 2:9
We Worship a "Triune" God
Our God is ONE. Father, Son, and Spirit are distinguishable but indivisible. As we worship, we experience the expressions of God's power,
personality and presence.
Genesis 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, john 1:1-2,
10: 30, 14:10, Colossians 2:9, 1 John 5:7
The Bible is the "Word" of God
While the Holy Bible is not the only scripture that governs our faith, it is the basis our belief system. It is the inspired Word of God; good for doctrine, instruction in righteousness, correction and reproof.
habakkuk 2:2-3, isaiah 34:16, 2 corinthians 3:2-4, 2 timothy 3:16-17
We are "forever saved" from sin
Once we accept, believe, and confess Jesus as savior, Lord, and Christ, we are FREE. In Christ, we are: justified from the penalty and power of sin; sanctified from the practice of sin; and glorified from the presence of sin.
John 8:36, Romans 5:1, 8:1, 10:9-17,
ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 1:9
All "adversity" is defeated.
Our adversary, the devil, and all evil or wickedness have been defeated. We may wrestle, and contend for the faith. But, all power was given to Jesus, who now shares that power with us. We have already won!
matthew 28:18, Luke 10:19, john 16:33, Ephesians 6:12, 1 Corinthians 15:57
We are "disciples of Christ"
We worship God by following Jesus' example and manifesting Christ on a daily basis. Our divinity is unfolding as we fast, pray, study, praise, fellowship,
serve, and share our testimony in love.
Matthew 16:24-26, 28:19-20,
John 8:31-32, 13:35
World | Church | Kingdom
This world is passing away. Jesus overcame this world, and built a church that will prevail. The body of Christ must learn to see, enter, and inherit the Kingdom of God, because Christ has dominion over them all.
Matthew 16:18, John 16:33, 1 Corinthians 7:31, 1 John 2:16-17, Revelation 11:15
